DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE NRA APPRENTICE AND ASSISTANT COACH, RSO AND INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM?
Basically, a teenager can take an NRA Instructor Course, or an NRA Level 1 Coach Course, or an NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) Course and become an Apprentice Instructor, or an Apprentice Coach, or an Apprentice RSO if they are 13-17 years old. If they are 18-20 years old, they can be an Assistant Instructor, or an Assistant Coach, or an Assistant RSO.
They take the same course, the same test and the same live fire requirement if applicable as an adult.
Here is another cool part of the program.
If they scored high enough on the test when they take the course, regardless of how old they are when they take the course, and they maintain NRA membership, they can send in a request to age up to the next level when they turn 18, or when they turn 21! How cool is that!? More information can be found at https://www.americas1stfreedom.org/content/nra-apprentice-and-assistant-instructor-programs/
