NRA Trainer Credential Fee Structure.
Of the courses we are offering, NRA Credentialing fees apply to RI, PI, RSO, CRSO PPOHI, PPIHI, CCWI, RC, PC, HPRC (see below for acronyms) and any other NRA Instructor certification. NRA members will pay $40.00 to the NRA for the first rating and then $20.00 to the NRA for each additional rating. Non-NRA members will pay $175.00 to the NRA for the first rating and then $40.00 to the NRA for each additional rating. These fees are paid by each candidate directly to the NRA. These fees are not included in the fees paid to HPCC to attend these courses.

The standard series we offer for National Rifle Association (NRA) Pistol Instructor qualification looks like this:
The following fees are for training held in Clovis, NM. The following fees include all NRA specified student materials. NRA textbooks can be as much as $80.00 each with tax and shipping. The following prices do not include firearms, ammunition, personal protective equipment, shooting garments and range fees. The instructor courses have a live fire prerequisite that will be conducted under the supervision of our staff. The basic courses have a live fire component that will be conducted under the supervision of our staff. The following fees do not include credentialing fees charged by the NRA to issue some certificates and to maintain currency. NRA members pay less.
NRA Basic Pistol, usually a one-day course, plus the mandatory live fire. $299.00 for private lessons. $199.00 each for two candidates. $149.99 each for three candidates. $129.99 each for four candidates.

If a candidate were to attend all five courses as a series, the total number of full training days could be reduced to seven, or possibly six full days while providing a comprehensive educational experience for each candidate!
A candidate who successfully completes the series may be certified as an NRA Range Safety Officer, an NRA Pistol Instructor and an NRA/USA Shooting/CMP L1 Pistol Marksmanship Coach once the candidate completes the process with the NRA and pays the NRA credentialing fees. Candidates who complete this series may be well qualified to apply to become CCW/CWL/LTC instructors for approximately twenty-five states; states may have additional requirements for potential instructors.

Basic Pistol, 1 day Range Safety Officer, 1 day Pistol Instructor with Basic Instructor Training, 3 days Basic Rifle, 1 day Rifle Instructor, 1 day (because you would have completed Basic Instructor Training and Pistol Instructor a few days earlier) Chief Range Safety officer, 1 day (because you would have completed Basic Instructor Training and Range Safety Officer a few days earlier) Level 1 Pistol Coach, 3 days Level 1 Small Bore and Air Rifle Coach, 2 days (because you just completed Pistol Coach) Level 1 High Power Rifle Coach, 2 day (because you just completed Pistol Coach and Small Bore and Air Rifle Coach) Only 14 days to walk away with a bunch of qualifications. This series presented in Clovis, NM with only four candidates for the full series would only cost approximately $2,600.00 including all student materials and range time (approximately $500.00) per candidate!
