We are the instructors who train other instructors. Many local CCW instructors in the area and nationally received their own training from us. We specialize in: Creating a relaxed, safe, and enjoyable learning environment Taking complete beginners and building real confidence and competenceHelping experienced shooters significantly improve their skillsProviding honest, high-quality instruction (as we mentioned, we are not a side-hustle training operation)
Our instructors also volunteer their time with the High Plains Marksmanship Academy (a 501(c)(3) youth and adult shooting sports program). Outstanding and in depth instructor. Eric has a vast and extensive knowledge while retaining an ability to simplify concepts for every level of student. He is patient and friendly along with having a great sense of humor. I really advanced my shooting abilities with his guidance beyond what I thought was possible. I feel more confident in every aspect of firearm utilization from target to self defense. Having gone through concealed carry classes before I had a good idea of what to expect as far as what the class curriculum would entail. And to be honest, I half expected our instructor to regurgitate the same "by the book" training that a lot of other instructors use. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised that Coach Eric didn't bombard us with the usual mundane word for word of every slide of the training. Instead, he used a mix of modern and classic tools and materials to tie the two-day classroom and range days together. His approach to the training was very useful for someone like myself that has gone through these classes before as well as those classmates and teammates of mine that were attending CCW training for the first time. An added benefit was getting to spend more time with him and his lovely wife, Loretta, to further my learning and experience with his instructor training. Whether you're just starting out, or already have experience in carrying, I highly recommend taking advantage of Coach Eric's knowledge and expertise to build, or continue building, the skill set and confidence that self-defense carry demands.
