The Rifle Classes Information Starts Here
The first four days, Feb 7 - Feb 10 will be the Rifle Series. The Rifle series will consist of National Rifle Association (NRA) Range Safety Officer (RSO) on Feb 7. NRA Basic Rifle (BR) on Feb 8. NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) on Feb 9. BIT is included with and is presented during the first day of the Rifle Instructor (RI) class Feb 9 - 10.
The individual price for all four classes totals $1,047.00. Any candidate who attends all four classes RSO, BR, BIT (included in the RI class) and RI will have the total fee for those classes discounted to $899.00. This fee includes all NRA required student materials. These fees also include two hours at a local range to accomplish the live fire requirements. If a candidate requires more than one live fire event to qualify, the candidate will be charged the additional range fees. The student materials we provide for each of these classes averages approximately $20.00 per student per class. Range time usually averages $25.00 per student. Candidates will be responsible for ammunition and safety gear. We will have loaner firearms available. Candidates may fire their own firearms, but all firearms and ammunition must meet the approval of our instructors. Call 575-985-5555 for more information.
Our fees for classes do not include any registration fees paid to the NRA to register individual certifications; usually $65.00 for non-NRA members, much less for NRA members. These fees are usually due to the NRA every two years to keep certifications current. If you want to save on these fees, and you are not an NRA member, call us for membership at 575-985-5555 to save a few dollars. Do this quickly as it takes the NRA several days to let the Instructor Team know you are now an NRA member.

This will bring the total for the Rifle series and the Pistol series down to $1,498.00 per candidate. Completing both series of classes will give a candidate RSO, BR, BIT, RI, PB and PI! The NRA requires a minimum of four candidates for any instructor class. We require a minimum of four candidates to conduct any NRA classes. If we get more than four candidates to register for, attend, and pay for any of these classes, the fee for each student will be reduced. For example, if we have eight students attend, complete and pay for both series of classes, the schedule would be reduced by two training days since every student will have completed RSO once and BIT once. The total fees to attend both series will be reduced from $1,498.00 per candidate to $999.00 per candidate! That is a total of five classes per candidate, RSO, BR, BIT, RI, BP and PI for $199.80 per class per candidate! The student materials we provide for each of these classes averages approximately $20.00 per student per class. Range time usually averages $25.00 per student. Help us advertise these classes so we all can save $! Any candidate who wants to attend any classes without attending that full series will be charged the NRA website price for each class. Do not make any payments for any of these classes just yet! We will not collect any deposits until we have at least four candidates registered for each class. Once we have a minimum four candidates registered for each class, we will contact every candidate to collect the deposit for each class from each candidate. Our refund policies are very strict since we will be purchasing flights and incurring other travel expenses to offer these classes when we are away from our NM home venue. Also, we do not refund any processing fees our credit card processor charges us for each transaction. Unfortunately, NRA's website requires each candidate to register for each individual class.
